We welcome you to the Anglican Church of The Holy Cross, a parish of the Anglican Province of Christ the King. If you are not familiar with the Anglican Church, we hope this information will help you understand the Worship Service.
Our worship service follows the form and understanding handed down by the Apostles and is in the tradition of the Anglican Communion (Traditional Episcopal); the 1928 Book of Common Prayer is used as the basis of our Service. In our Service we kneel to pray, stand to praise the Lord God, and sit to hear His Word. The Service, in this way, offers each member the means to be an active participant in the worship, a real, active, and necessary part and not a spectator.
